In November of 2023, I told myself that I would begin to work on my life-long dream of becoming an artist. So, I bought a refurbished iPad Pro with an Apple pencil and began my journey. Not gonna lie, I’m too embarrassed to upload anything from the first year and a half.
My strategy has been to learn the basics and build my way up. Right now, my biggest challenge is anatomy and perspective. Two books that have been helping me in my journey are:

- Figure Drawing For All It’s Worth by Andrew Loomis
The Goddess of Victory: Nikke community on Bluesky has been very encouraging. I’d like to thank my oomfies for liking my drawings and allowing me to explore spicier territory. There’s a lot of talented artists who I’m lucky to be following as well.
That being said, I hope you don’t cringe too much. I’m still kind of shy about showing my work to people, but I’m getting better about it.
