about
The main visual novel that I’m working is about a cyborg who finds herself in the middle of a conspiracy that spans millennia while discovering the truth of her origins.
It’s heavily inspired by conspiracy theories that are seemingly becoming a reality in our world. Secret Societies, the odd rituals of the elites, and the reality of our universe, it’s all going to be about that.
In my time exploring gnosticism and related topics, I’ve felt a huge weight lifted from my shoulders because I suddenly feel like we’re all connected in this journey through life. I want to unveil all these horrible things that people in power have distracted us with to become angry and hateful towards each other. All because the elite are sad people who have never experienced true emotions like we common folk do. In that sense, they are not people at all. They are psychotic meat puppets doing anything to stay alive in this broken world.
For the rest of us … there’s value in the suffering we have endured. I’ve lost loved ones that mean the world to me and despite how traumatic those experiences were for me, I’m still able to march on in life. It’s a type of strength that I know the people in control don’t understand since all they know is how to inflict pain.
Understanding that we have free will, we could all reject this reality if we really wanted to. But … we don’t. And the sad truth is that a lot of us feel trapped in our day to day lives and ask ourselves, “is this really all there is to life?”
I’m a little terrified about the scope of this work, but I think I’ll be able to get it done one way or another. I hope you enjoy the journey of a cyborg who gives humanity a chance to create a new type of world that is full of hope.
theme
The theme of the visual novel is about taking responsibility for your own life in a world where people are constantly trying to control you.
In other words, the master theme is:
- Being true to yourself means disregarding prejudice and existing outside of what people have been conditioned to believe is “acceptable”.
Sub theme: People have been conditioned to believe what is acceptable and what is not by individuals who want to control the populace. This creates a divided society that thrives on distrust and hate.
setting
My story for this project takes place in an alternate version of our Earth in the future. A new world order has been established by a coalition of nations* under the “Pangaean Accord”.
*Many of the nations in this coalition are former NATO members.
On paper, the goal of this treaty is to achieve “Pangaea Ultima”, the group’s version of a complete and unified world.
However, the true intentions for achieving this goal are far more nefarious.
Nations who refuse to participate in the treaty are classified as “rogue nations” and are seen as a threat to humanity’s future, thus are forced into a war for their own sovereignty.
Humans have primarily been fighting in the war, but that has begun to change.
Seemingly out of nowhere, a new technology emerged – The Galatea: artificial humanoid bodies with capabilities beyond the average human being.
These lifeless cybernetic bodies come to life when implanted with the Central Nervous System (CNS) of a human being. The process is grueling and results in the human donor losing their biological body.
A Galatea can easily have the combat effectiveness of several men into one unit, potentially turning the tide of battle with just one present in the field.
And with more being produced every year, many are wondering if human history will ultimately be decided by the victories achieved by these cyborg warriors.
protagonist
Amana Amagi shares many specifications with Galatea of a similar frame, but one thing makes her stand out: she does not have a Central Nervous System.
prologue
The scope of the main story is very daunting to me as a new writer. So I decided to work on a prologue that covers the events of the East Asia Incident.
The name of the prologue is called Wandering Chrysanthemum and it’ll introduce both Amagi and Azuma, as well as provide additional information about the world they live in.
Wandering Chrysanthemum‘s script is currently being re-written and I should have a draft ready by Spring 2026. I’d like to release the visual novel complete, for free, before the end of 2026. After the draft is done, I’ll probably dedicate myself to the artwork until the visual novel’s release.
